Taste testing meets fabulous foodies in Colorado Springs on Sunday, April 27 in historic Old Colorado City, just a few blocks from the beautiful and romantic Holden House 1902 Bed & Breakfast Inn. The “Taste of Old Colorado City” is a traditional event, featuring a festival of food, drink, music, and art, celebrates the rich heritage of the Pikes Peak Region.
Here you’ll find the “Best” of the West-side’s local restaurants, libations from local craft breweries and the best in wineries from across America will tempt your palate while you enjoy the tunes from bluegrass to family bands. Bluegrass, tempered with a few gospel and swing favorites will have the audience hootin’ and a hollerin’. Dozens of local artists will create original pieces of art, to be auctioned off during the event. Organized by the Old Colorado City Foundation, the event will raise funds for improvements in Old Colorado City along the Avenue.
